-Department Description
The company's IP video Solutions Business Unit is responsible for developing and marketing leading technology solutions for entertainment video networks and is the market leader with more deployed networks and consumer terminals than any other equipment provider. The Marketing Department is responsible for driving the business success of our products and performs market analysis and business case development, develops product strategies, communicates our message to the marketplace, works with our product development groups to bring products to market, works with sales to win accounts and meet financial plans, and manages product life cycles including forecasting, pricing, supporting sales, and supporting customer service.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
Marketing Manager to manage all written communications necessary to position our products properly in the marketplace and to accurately and persuasively relate the company's capabilities against specific customer requirements. This person is responsible for developing well crafted descriptions of all aspects of the IPVS product lines in order to streamline and enhance the quality of our responses to customer requests for proposals, as well as manage the complete end-end bid to contracts process. Also responsible for authoring and managing the creation of whitepapers and articles for technical and business journals as well as technical brochures and data sheets. Responsible for tailoring all of our communications for global markets.

Specific Knowledge/Skills: Technical experience includes an understanding of digital video and IP networking, with specific emphasis on Telco applications. Must possess excellent written skills and have demonstrated capabilities in working under high pressure deadlines. Well developed interpersonal skills are a must to work with customers and the sales team toward effectively positioning our solutions. The position requires a technical degree and broad business experience with an MBA a plus.
