Our Dallas client is looking for someone who can take on the responsibility of accounting for a mortgage company.

This person needs to have a strong background using Quickbooks and experience in the mortgage industry. This is a "hands on" job. Additionally, this person will be in charge of monthly and annual reconciliation reporting. Candidate will be responsible for processing accounts receivable and payable transactions and understand how these transactions relate to the Profit and Loss and Balance sheet statements

Essential skills:
- Mortgage loan experience with knowledge of mortgage terminology
- Strong knowledge of Quickbooks- "hands on"
- Quick learner who is able to hit the ground running
- Reliable
- Has experience with HUD-1 statements
- Experience and understanding of P&L and balance statements
