Working with the Device Firmware team, the successful candidate will be involved in the design and development of software tools and instrument drivers used for calibrating, testing and configuring handheld devices. The tools and drivers are written a variety of languages including C++ for 32-bit Windows using MS Visual C++ with Win32 SDK and MFC APIs, Standard Template Libraries (STL) and other generic C++ libraries, or other environments like LabWindows CVi.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Completed degree in computer science, software engineering or electronic engineering.
Experience with digital RF technologies.
Thorough understanding of MS Visual C++ with Win32 SDK and MFC APIs, Standard Template Libraries (STL) and other generic C++ libraries, or other C language based environments are essential.
Various other technologies such as Teststand and COM are also used so good understanding of programming fundamentals is required.
Successful candidate must be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner and have good communication skills.
Basic knowledge of electronics and RF technologies would be an asset, but not required.
