Position Overview
DUTIES:
o Works directly with the customer project team (primarily onsite) during configuration, testing, training, and implementation.
o Performs detailed design for client specific enhancements; leads interface design and testing with limited direction.
o Develops modification specifications with minimal direction; Leads modification delivery activities.
o Effectively articulates technical concepts to client audiences; relates technical concepts to client operations.
o Actively participates in status meetings with both project team and client.
o Prepares and delivers internal and external technical presentations.
o Sets clear expectations with the client; attains client goals within mutually-agreed to budget parameters and timeline. Monitors & manages project scope and budget.
o Establishes clear, accurate project timeline and schedule; Monitors progress against schedule; builds in and executes contingency plans as necessary.
o Proactively troubleshoots and resolves issues that arise during implementation.
o Updates and maintains project issues list, which includes prioritizing the issues.
o Performs thorough "Pre-Go-Live" audit to validate system and client readiness for a successful implementation.
o Actively seeks out opportunities to teach others; coaches team members to achieve higher performance.

Required Skills/Experience
o BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related degree
o 3-5+ years consulting experience with packaged software implementations
o Minimum of 2 years experience implementing warehouse management software required
o Exceptional written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
o Extensive software trouble-shooting skills.
o Self-motivated, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Experience with Microsoft Office Tools
o Experience with DB2 and SQL required; experience with iSeries platform preferred.
o Average travel 50 - 75%
