Our client is looking for an Attorney with 6 - 10 years of transactional experience needed for Counsel position to provide support for the Company s Messaging , Digital Services and Xdrive business units. Specific responsibilities will include:
Advising on legal issues arising in connection with the development and launch of new products and services by these business units;
Drafting and negotiating in-bound and out-bound agreements in support of the business objectives for these business units. Genres of agreements may include, among other things, software licenses, development and support agreements, distribution and marketing agreements, and ASP agreements;
Providing general support to these business units on IP related matters;
Playing integral role as member of legal team responsible for IP, Technology & New Products for the company.
Excellent academic credentials;
Minimum 4 years transactional experience including strong analytical, drafting and negotiation skills; strong familiarity with software licensing, content licensing, and general IP;
Knowledge of the online services industries;
Excellent communication and leadership skills;
Self-starter with ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Significant internet/online/wireless services work experience;
Knowledge of consumer protection issues;
Sophisticated knowledge of technology licensing and other intellectual property law.
