Our Plano, TX client is looking for a Senior OA Software Engineer with 3 yrs experience testing & developing test automation scripts or developement. A BS in computer science is a must. Relocation may be offered to exceptional candidates

They are looking for a very detailed oriented and quality driven Senior QA Engineer with passion for innovation. As a quality team expert, you will be responsible for combination of test leadership, development and execution of test cases for our next generation of products across multiple device platforms.
Responsibilities:
* Identification, implementation, execution and maintenance of test cases.
* Defect management, resolution and verification.
* Implementation of quality methodologies and publishing quality metrics.
* Detailed defect reporting and analyzing problems to determine root causes.
* Reviewing functional and design requirements.
* Reviewing code and unit tests
* Working with the automation systems to streamline existing test cases.
* Advocate improving software development methods to move quality upstream in the Software Development Life Cycle.

Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience in software testing, including writing comprehensive test plans, test cases and executing tests.
* Minimum 2 years of experience developing test automation scripts or product development experience.
* Experience with functional and regression testing.
* Experience using office software (word processor, spreadsheets, and presentations).
* Experience using Symbian UIQ or S60 Smartphones, PDAs, or pocket PC applications.
* Thorough understanding of software quality measurements.
* Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong work ethic and self motivated.
* Strive for high standard of excellence and thrive in a result orientated team environment.
* BS in CS or equivalent experience.
Desirable:
* Experience testing Symbian based applications.
* Experience with TestQuest Pro or similar automation tool.
* Experience with filter testing.
* Experience as a team lead or mentoring junior engineers.
* Ability to juggle multiple simultaneous tasks in a fast pace, startup environment.
* Thorough understanding of software quality engineering methodologies.
