Internal Audit Director

This position is located in Fort Worth, TX.

Job Description: This position is responsible for the development and execution of the strategic plan for Internal Audit and Controls Services in their respective market. This includes driving development of the Internal Audit and Controls solution area with the goal of significant growth and profitability; providing technical expertise; and maintaining and leveraging a network of clients and contacts.

Responsibilities include: Serve as business advisor to clients; Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client services teams on client engagements; Create work plans to support fee estimates, assign resources, and oversee successful delivery of services; Oversee the following tasks: construction audit and advisory, contract compliance, COSO-based enterprise financial risk assessments, financial reporting audits, fraud and forensic investigations, information technology audits, internal audit co-sourcing and outsourcing, operational audits, regulatory compliance, Sarbanes Oxley compliance; and Set annual revenue goals.

Degree Requirements: BA/BS

Experience Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Auditing or related area; Minimum 12 years or more of clearly progressive, professional development in the general areas of internal auditing or related activities; Minimum 5 years in a leadership role; Experience in fraud risk management, fraud handling or litigation support is preferred; Required experience of excellent performance, management capability, and revenue growth; Proven ability to drive a business including selling, work plan development, proposal writing, and overseeing service delivery; Demonstrated ability to successfully sell and cross market various firm services; Effective verbal and written communication skills; Flexibility to participate in marketing and delivering engagements outside of the immediate area for reasonable periods of time; Entrepreneurial attitude and thinking skills; Proven customer service skills; Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds; Certification CIA, CPA/CA CISA, CFA or equivalent or advanced degree MBA or equivalent preferred.
